The Guest Club is a service operated by TruZt AG, a company registered in the Swiss commercial register under number CHE-100.456.671. The-Guest Club is also a registered trademark protected under number 797949.

PURPOSE

The-Guest Club is a service dedicated to personalizing the luxury tourism experience. It aims to enable the hospitality and tourism sectors and other partners to offer personalized experiences to their clients based on preference data collected through its platform.

Clients have the option to create a profile detailing their personal preferences.

TruZt AG, as the data controller for the information collected through The-Guest Club service, commits to taking all necessary measures to ensure the protection of personal data and the confidentiality of its clients and users, in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act (FADP).

CONSENT

By continuing to use The-Guest Club service platform, as well as the electronic services provided by TruZt AG, the user or client declares and guarantees that they are at least 18 years old, fully understand the established terms, and have full legal capacity according to applicable legal provisions.

PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

TruZt AG is committed to protecting the privacy and handling of personal data of all its users and clients of The-Guest Club service platform and its electronic services in accordance with the law.

TruZt AG acknowledges that by using its new The-Guest Club platform, its users and clients will entrust it with their personal data.

TruZt AG, therefore, wishes to clarify the type of data processed during the use of its platform, the purposes for which it is processed, the methods of processing, who it is disclosed to, and the security measures taken to protect it.

According to Article 5 of the Federal Data Protection Act, the following terms are defined as:

  • Personal data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Data subject: : The individual whose personal data is processed.
  • Processing: Any operation relating to personal data, regardless of the means and processes used, including collection, recording, storage, use, modification, communication, archiving, deletion, or destruction of data.

We collect personal data when you use the platform. We cannot provide all the requested services without this information. This data includes:

  1. Contact, account, and profile data
    • First name, last name, phone number, address, email address, date of birth, and profile picture, depending on the features you use.
  2. Identification data
    • When applicable, we may request an image of your official identification document, passport, national ID card, tax identification number, or driver’s license (in compliance with applicable laws) or other verification elements such as date of birth, address, email, phone number, digital identity, and/or a selfie photo during the identity verification process. If you provide a copy of your identification document, we obtain the data contained in it.
  3. Biometric data
    • Facial recognition data obtained from photos and identification documents you provide for verification, where available and subject to your consent when required by law. As soon as a person is recognizable in a photo, it is considered acquired personal data. Users and clients have the right to choose their profile picture in the application under Article 30 of the FADP
  4. Users and clients have the right to object at any time to the transmission of their data to hospitality and tourism establishments or other external partners. If they do not wish their data to be shared, they can exercise their right to opt out by submitting a request via the website or by email to data-protection@the-guestclub.com.
  5. Payment transaction data
    • Payment for services or subscriptions is processed by third-party payment platforms, and TruZt AG does not retain any payment information other than the amount and payment method after the transaction is completed, in accordance with current payment security standards.
  6. Voluntarily provided data
    • Users have the option to provide additional personal data such as gender, preferred languages, city, personal description, any other profile information they wish to include, payment data, or another person’s contact details or travel information
  7. Automatically collected data during platform use
    • Geolocation data
    • Usage data (searches, bookings, additional services, browsing behavior)
    • Device data (IP address, hardware and software data, crash logs)
    • Cookies and similar technologies
  8. Complaints
    • If a complaint is filed against you by a user, we may collect relevant data to understand and resolve the issue.
  9. Financial institutions
    • If you choose to pay via bank transfer, we may receive certain data from your financial institution, such as account details, which we do not retain after the transaction is completed.

By using The-Guest Club service, clients and users explicitly consent to the processing of their personal data as detailed above.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

TruZt AG may collect and process certain personal data from its clients and users. This data will be primarily used internally, particularly for organizing teams and creating client profiles, and may also be shared with authorized partners for luxury tourism personalization, in compliance with applicable legal provisions.
